Definition: In this system, the key phrase "3 moments" is defined as;

1. a specific increment of time, used in the process of engaging in unarmed combat,
2. a specific measurement of time; e.g. three seconds,
3. the amount of time that a biomechanical position or technical position is held; e.g. holding a biomechanical position, guarding position, striking position, blocking position, parrying position, grappling position, throwing position for three seconds.
