Abstraction Process


Label: In the White Lotus System of Unarmed Combat®, the expression "abstraction process" is a label that's used to identify;
1. a specific key phrase within the system's spoken language and written language,
2. an expression that is associated with processing concepts and processing elements
.
 
Definition: In this system, the key phrase "abstraction process" is defined as;

1. the conscious process or unconscious process of apprehending a concept from an object; e.g. the ability to apprehend a concept from the human body or some part of it, natural object, or manufactured object,
2. in context with basic skill development, the conscious process or unconscious process of apprehending biomechanical concepts, timing concepts, and/or processing concepts,
3. in context with intermediate skill development, the conscious process or unconscious process of apprehending biomechanical concepts, combative concepts, and/or processing concepts,
4. in context with advanced skill development, the conscious process or unconscious process of apprehending biomechanical concepts, combative concepts, and/or processing concepts
.
