Abstraction

Label: In the White Lotus System of Unarmed Combat^®, the expression "abstraction" is a label that's used to identify;

1. a specific key term within the system's spoken language and written language,
2. an expression that is associated with basic skill development,
3. an expression that is associated with intermediate skill development,
4. an expression that is associated with advanced skill development.

Definition: In this system, the key term "abstraction" is defined as;

1. an expression that refers to the abstraction process,
2. the conscious process or unconscious process of apprehending a concept from an object; e.g. the ability to apprehend a concept from the human body or some part of it, natural object, or manufactured object,
3. the conscious process or unconscious process of apprehending biomechanical concepts, combative concepts, and/or processing concepts.
