Label: In the White Lotus System of Unarmed Combat^®, the expression "form" is a label that's used to identify;

1. a specific key term within the system's spoken language and written language,
2. an expression that is associated with basic skill development,
3. an expression that is associated with intermediate skill development,
4. an expression that is associated with advanced skill development.

Definition: In this system, the key term "form" is defined as;

1. the physical shape of the human body,
2. the physical shape of a biomechanical position, biomechanical action, or biomechanical presentation,
3. a biomechanical pattern, kata, that is symbolic of guarding, striking, blocking, parrying, grappling, and/or throwing,
4. an expression that refers to a type or style of martial arts.
