Biomechanical Position

Definition: In this system, the key phrase "biomechanical position" is defined as;
1. the observable static form of the human body or some part of it,
2. the physical effect of placing one's body, or some part of it, at some point in space,
3. a posture, static in nature, that is assumed with the use of the body or some part of it,
4.
a posture that is absent of technical intent; e.g. a posture that is symbolic of blocking, grappling, guarding, parrying, striking, or throwing.
