Technical Concepts

Label: In the White Lotus System of Unarmed Combat^®, the expression "technical concepts" is a label that's used to identify;

1. a specific key phrase within the system's spoken language and written language,
2. a categorical phrase that is associated with technical concepts and technical elements,
3. an expression that is associated with intermediate skill development,
4. an expression that is associated with advanced skill development.

Definition: In this system, the key phrase "technical concepts" is defined as;

1. a series of ideas that are associated with the processing of biomechanical events; e.g. how technical concepts are used to govern the specific use of biomechanical events,
2. a series of ideas that are associated with the processing of combat events; e.g. how technical concepts are abstracted and/or actualized,
3. a series of ideas that are associated with the processing of temple events; e.g. how technical concepts are abstracted and/or actualized,
4. a series of ideas that are associated with guarding techniques, striking techniques, blocking techniques, parrying techniques, grappling techniques, and throwing techniques.
