Label: In the White Lotus System of Unarmed Combat®, the expression "guarding" is a label that's used to identify;

Definition: In this system, the key term "guarding" is defined as;
1. the process of keeping one's body or parts of it from harm,
2. in context with basic skill development, the symbolic process of keeping one's body or parts of it from harm,
3. in context with intermediate skill development, the actual process of keeping one's body or parts of it from harm,
4. in context with advanced skill development, the actual process of keeping one's body or parts of it from harm.
