Biomechanical Postures

In the White Lotus System of Unarmed Combat®, the expression "biomechanical postures" is a label that's used to identify;

Definition: In this system, the key phrase "biomechanical postures" is defined as;
1. the observable static forms of the human body or parts of it,
2. the physical effect of placing one's body, or parts of it, at points in space,
3. a series of positions, static in nature, that are assumed with the use of the body or some part of it,
a series of positions that are absent of technical intent; e.g. a series of positions that are symbolic of blocking, grappling, guarding, parrying, striking, or throwing.
