Static Form

In the White Lotus System of Unarmed Combat®, the expression "static form" is a label that's used to identify;

Definition: In this system, the key phrase "static form" is defined as;
1. an observable posture or position,
2. the physical effect of placing one's body, or parts of it, at points in space,
3. a posture or position that is assumed with the use of the body or some part of it,
a posture or position that is absent of technical intent; e.g. a posture or position that is symbolic of blocking, grappling, guarding, parrying, striking, or throwing.
