Static Forms

In the White Lotus System of Unarmed Combat®, the expression "static forms" is a label that's used to identify;

Definition: In this system, the key phrase "static forms" is defined as;
1. observable postures or positions,
2. the physical effect of placing one's body, or parts of it, at points in space,
3. postures or positions that are assumed with the use of the body or some part of it,
postures or positions that are absent of technical intent; e.g. postures or positions that are symbolic of blocking, grappling, guarding, parrying, striking, or throwing.
