Static Striking Events


Label: In the White Lotus System of Unarmed Combat®, the expression "static striking events" is a label that's used to identify a specific key phrase within the system's spoken language and written language.

Definition: In this system, the key phrase "static striking events" is defined as;
1. in context with basic skill development, a series of striking positions or striking presentations that are symbolic of hitting an opponent's body or some part of it,
2. in context with intermediate skill development, a series of striking positions or striking presentations that are actually used in the process of hitting an opponent's body or some part of it,
3. in context with advanced skill development, a series of striking positions or striking presentations that are actually used in the process of hitting an opponent's body or some part of it.
